Whether your a customer needing a single machine installation or wanting us to manage a full turn-key project, our engineers are specialists and we use our knowledge to cater to all our customers needs. We undertake over 50% of projects globally but also cover UK nationwide so wherever you are based we can undertake any project, anywhere, any size.

We invest heavily into our engineers to ensure they have the knowledge, drive and expertise to deliver a seamless customer experience to organisations of any size.

Crabtree & Hill was established in 1978 by Jack Crabtree and Stewart Hill and it was their vision to develop a specialised electrical service business, unique to the printing industry. At this time, we were built on reputation and customer relationships, combined with competitive pricing, which has remained constant to this day.

Over the past 40 years, our company has grown steadily, completing projects globally for a variety of industries both small and large. We have a specialism for the printing industry, however we have expanded our knowledge and branched into other areas over this time such as mechanical, facilities, turnkey projects and a specialised parts service. 

In early 2000’s Jack retired, in 2001 Crabtree & Hill incorporated from a private company to limited company and Crabtree & Hill continued trade solidly.

From 2010 through until 2014, Crabtree and Hill supplied project management resources responsible for managing projects up to £3m. The management of such projects, introduced Crabtree & Hill to the benefits of turnkey type projects and decided to fully utilise their current electrical business and add the required mechanical elements required to carry out turnkey type operations.  In 2015, the first small M&E turnkey project was successfully completed.

Environmental management is paramount at Crabtree & Hill and is at the forefront of our business going forward. We are currently working towards ISO 9001 and determined to maintain our thorough safety record while working at any site. 

We are established members of safe contractor schemes and our senior employees all undergo either IOSH or NEBOSH training.

On site, all of our managers and supervisors are IOSH trained and each of our site operatives are CSCS trained.
