ENERGY SAVING

LIGHTING: Crabtree & Hill Electrical can offer an efficient service by replacing existing lighting in large warehouse and production areas with new energy saving lighting schemes. The benefits of replacing older lights are not only a much improved quality of light, but also a vast reduction in running costs due to the more energy efficient design of the modern day light fittings being installed.

POWER FACTOR CORRECTION: The typical electricity bill in the UK is based upon the highest demand of kilowatts (KW) or KVA (KVA) used during a set period. If the power factor is low, the percentage of the measured KVA will be significantly greater than the KW demand which in turn will lead to a higher bill. Therefore, improving the power factor through a new power factor correction system installed by Crabtree & Hill Electrical will lower the demand charge and reduce your electricity bill.

VARIABLE DRIVE UPGRADE: To provide an improved level of performance, efficiency and reliability, Crabtree & Hill Electrical can upgrade motor control systems on all types of machinery.
