At Crabtree & Hill, Health & Safety as well as environmental management is paramount and at the forefront of our business going forward. We are currently working towards OHSAS 18001 and determined to maintain our excellent safety record while working on site.

We are established members of safe contractor schemes and our senior employees all undergo either IOSH or NEBOSH training.

On site, all of our managers and supervisors are IOSH trained and each of our site operatives are CSCS trained.

CDM 2015

What is CDM . . . ?
Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM) require that any project where two or more contracting companies are carrying out work on a Customers site must be managed in accordance with CDM Regulations irrespective of project duration.

Our HSE department have worked with Customers, Principal Contractors, Contractors and Designers on many projects that have been required to meet the requirements of CDM. We provide a range of services that will help you take your project from the pre-construction phase right through to handover.

We provide competent Health and Safety advice to Customers regarding their duties under CDM 2015 and we work together with Customers, Principal Contractors, Contractors and Designers on the flow of information during pre-construction and construction phases of the project including the management of the F10. We create the Principal Contractor Construction Phase Plan (CPP) to ensure that all relevant Health and Safety issues are fully considered, suitable and sufficient control measures incorporated into the CPP. We undertake scheduled Site Safety Performance Audits, safety inspections and document reviews providing audit reports and recommendations to customers.
